LouAnn is the founder of The Hybrid Techie, a boutique management consulting company engineered to drive business growth and technical innovation. As an experienced Project Manager, she is known for her ability to oversee and manage complex IT environments and critical projects. She has also launched The Hybrid Brand Co., a small digital design studio that creates engaging brand experiences through brand strategy and website design. Her focus is helping build authentic connections between brands and their communities by crafting consistent and meaningful visual content.
Papa CJ

Papa CJ is a world-renowned stand-up comedian who has won awards for both Asia’s and India’s Best Stand-up Comedian. He has performed over 2000 shows in over 25 countries and is the only Indian comedian to have shot his own solo special with Comedy Central. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and is often engaged as a motivational speaker and executive coach. He also consults corporate clients on brand content and concepts that help them successfully execute their business and marketing strategies. He has been invited to speak at both Harvard Business School and the University of Oxford. His business card reads Ambassador of Happiness and his mission is to spread happiness and help others realise their dreams. Under his initiative called The Papa CJ Happiness Project he performs and curates events in support of charitable causes across the world.

Susie is a humanitarian who divides her time between the US and overseas. She is the founder of Hands In fair trade marketplace and S3 Works Sustainability Consulting. Upon joining the non-profit world she earned a B.A. In development and an M.A. Humanitarian Services and has worked with groups in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Ecuador, Jamaica, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Palestine, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Danielle Duret, M.D.

Dr. Duret is a physician at Montefiore Medical Center. Mitch retired from a 40+ year corporate career in banking where he held senior operating,
financial and marketing positions at leading global financial institutions including Deutsche Bank,
JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Axa. He is currently is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Belpointe,
where he works with individuals, family offices and closely held businesses to achieve their
financial objectives and goals. Mitch is a co-founder of the Friedom Project for Financial Literacy
whose mission is to establish financial literacy programs in high schools, community colleges and
universities across the country to insure that everyone has the knowledge and tools to live a
financially responsible life and be financially secure. Mitch is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance
at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. He has MSIA/MBA and BS degrees from

Jitin Hingorani

Arts & Entertainment reporter, Communications Director, Director of Development & Marketing are all titles Jitin has successfully held in his career in journalism, non-profit management, and PR. His first job was working in broadcast news at CNN’s sister station in Texas. Passionate to serve his community, Jitin joined the battered women’s movement and served as the Communications Director for the National Domestic Violence Hotline and the Texas Council on Family Violence. Peter Pergolis

Peter Pergolis was sworn in as District Governor for NYS District 20-R2 (Manhattan, The Bronx, Staten Island, Lower Westchester) at the Lions Chub International Convention in Fukuoka, Japan in 2016. While serving as District Governor, Peter emphasized service with an emphasis on Disaster and Humanitarian Relief. A graduate of Fordham University, Peter is currently a Real Estate Salesperson licensed with Pergolis Swartz Associates. This follows his 45-year career in public accounting and auditing, beginning at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center as Corporate Director of Internal Audit, and ending as the Director of Internal Audit for Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. As Director of Internal Audit for Weill Cornell Medical College, Peter provided leadership with internal audits and advised Cornell’s Auditor as well as the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees on high risk areas, control gaps, and recommended mitigation actions.

Professor Fritz Pinnock is the President of the Caribbean Maritime University and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sustainable Cruise Tourism from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica. He also has an MSc. in International Shipping and Logistics from the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom and a BSc. (Hons.) in Economics and Accounting (Management Studies) from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics Transport, UK (FCILT) and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, UK (FCMI) and has been a Fellow of the British Institute of Management (MBIM) since 1991, and the Institute of Logistics and Distribution Management (MILDM).

Jay Townsend

Speechwriter, debate coach, television, print and radio advertising strategist, Jay Townsend has worked in more than 300 political campaigns during his career, including four presidential campaigns, scores of U.S. Senate, Gubernatorial and Congressional races, and a myriad of County Executive, Mayoral, legislative and judicial contests. He is the author of So You Want to Run for Public Office, The Worst Mistakes Candidates Make and Timeless Lessons from the 2016 Election. Townsend has received several national awards for his work, including the nation’s best television commercial aired in a Gubernatorial race, the best persuasion mail piece produced for a Presidential campaign, and the nation’s best newspaper ad for a political candidate. A member of the National Speakers Association, Townsend has spoken before hundreds of audiences and candidate training workshops. He has lectured on politics and political warfare at the United States Military Academy, the Marketing Research Association, and the Marist Institute for Public Opinion. He has appeared on NBC, NY1, Time Warner’s Capitol Tonight, Canadian TV, and FOX News. Townsend earned B.S. and M.S. degrees from Purdue University. He resides in New York.
Vlada von Shats

Vlada is CEO of The Russian Samovar Restaurant, known for its literary and diplomatic intelligentsia. She began her career in the U.S. working for studios such as MGM and Paramount, as well as ABC. Vlada was born in Russia in 1964 and immigrated to New York City in 1977, where she lives with her four children. Vlada has a strong commitment to community and sits on the boards of It Ends Today, Anti Bullying Organization, and Gay American Heroes. Her contributions to society include her desire to build a better world by educating young minds about bullying and its impact. She is a long-term friend of the gay and lesbian community.
David Seiple, Ph.D.

David Seiple is an educational consultant and college teacher. He has a Ph.D. from Columbia University (Philosophy) and a Master’s Degree from Drew University Theological Seminary. Over the past thirty years he has taught widely in the New York area, both as private writing coach and as faculty member. He has published in a variety of professional journals, has co-edited two scholarly books, and has presented papers at professional conferences in the US and in Europe. Currently he is teaching philosophy and critical thinking in the CUNY system, and offers expert coaching on various writing projects.
Inson Dubois Wood

Inson received his Masters of Architecture from Harvard University where he studied under the current powerhouses of modernism: Frank Gehry, Rem Koolhaas and Coop‐Himmelblau. Mr. Wood’s multilingual abilities have enabled him to work overseas on projects in Austria, Japan, Italy, Thailand and France. Loretta Wu

Loretta was born in New York City and graduated from the City College of New York with a degree in History and holds an M.A. in Chinese history from Columbia University. She taught in New York City public schools for 26 years and was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year while at Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School. Loretta Wu has been an active volunteer for Lions Club International for more than 20 years as district governor of Lions District 20-R2, supporting a wide range of humanitarian missions that include sight preservation, diabetes awareness, youth, membership and leadership development; she has served as mentor to the New York Global Leaders Lions Club since its inception in 2015.
